Hi, I’m Eric, the founder of Black Truck Residential Services!

I noticed, while helping friends and family with side work, that many handymen and contractors weren’t delivering on their promises. Slow to respond, not attending to the customer’s vision, showing up late (if at all) and dragging projects out way longer than needed. It felt like every job I was going to was cleaning up someone else’s mess…

I started Black Truck to deliver a customer-first experience and quality work. Whether the project be big or small, custom or simple, I want my customers to be satisfied with the process AND the end result. Seeing a dear friend’s face light up when they see their post-it-note sketch come to life motivates me to follow my passion and help more people.

  • Absolutely! Whether it’s a new doorknob installed, an outlet changed out, an eyesore hole patched in your wall, window blinds or curtains hung, new led bulbs installed in your fixtures, or any of the other myriad of things that come along with living in a space. We are happy to help you with as many or as few items that need to go from honey-do to honey-done.

  • Undertaking any renovation project can be daunting. Whether you have a full vision, pieces of a vision, or need help creating a vision, we can help you design, bring it all together, and prioritize what will bring you the most bang-for-your-buck. Contact us and we’ll come by for a consultation!

  • There are a lot of factors to consider putting a price on a project; materials, time & labor, overall size of the project, consumables, & custom made aspects are all items we consider when providing a quote. The good news is, it doesn’t cost you anything to find out. Estimates are free!

  • Me! I know it can be unnerving having someone in your house you don’t know. I’m not going to bring anyone into your home that I wouldn’t trust in mine. Black Truck is a small company and right now there is only 2 of us that run it, myself and my partner Eddy.

  • That depends on what you would like for us to do. Most small tasks are done in one day. Some larger jobs may require a couple days or even a week. We will discuss with you what the timeline looks like during the onsite consultation.
